UPCOMING SPIRIT WEEK: SUMMER PARTY!

Starting on May 20, we will be having our final spirit week! Make sure to dress up for all of the theme days and come out for Carnival Fun!

TUESDAY - Bell will go at 11:45 for lunch. At 12pm - students will go to the activities - back to class on time.
(PJ DAY) Dunk tank (Mr.Wilms, Mr.Lilly, Mr.Laudadio, Mr.McTaggart, Mr.McAvoy, Mr.Schmor)
Pie throw (Mr.Revel and Mr.Sauve)
Dart throw
Can throw
Cotton candy
Bake sale
Obstacle course
TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE (10 free tickets if you dress in your pj's) at the event
PRIZES FOR ALL GAMES!!!

WEDNESDAY- Video game competition in the library
(DECADES DAY) Art competition (each class will draw a "chalk design" on the track) - winning class gets a prize!

THURSDAY - Lunch will start at the same time as usual, however, we will extend it until 1:15pm
(WESTERN DAY) POD competitions - tug of war, sack race, 3 legged race, etc... - first place POD wins a pizza party!

FRIDAY - Bell will go at 11:45 for lunch - back to class at 12:30 for attendance then pep rally.
(TROPICAL DAY) Remember the grade 5's are here that day and we can show them our stuff!
Tailgate party at lunch time ($5 for burger, pop and chips)

WE ARE GOING TO HAVE ALL EVENTS (EXCEPT PEP RALLY) AT LUNCH SO GET OUT AND PARTICIPATE!

POD COMPETITION (THURSDAY)
(8 teams - grade 6 English, French and Late French, grade 7 English, French and Late French, grade 8 English and French -Div 21 will go on the grade 8 French team - ok?) Winning POD - pizza party (2 pieces each)

Teams:

3-legged race - up to 5 teams of 2 (5 points per team participating + 5 points for winning team)
Sack race - same
Water balloon toss - same
Tug of war - up to 30 person team (at least 10 girls) - (30 points for winning team) - we will start with grade 6 PODS and the winner from each grade level will go into a final (grade 7 vs. 8 then winner vs. grade 6)
Limbo - individual winner gets 5 points for their POD

We will run all of these competitions at the same time, therefore, make sure different kids are on different teams.

I AM HOPING THAT TEACHERS WILL PARTICIPATE BY BEING IN ATTENDANCE FOR ANY AND ALL ACTIVITIES - CHEER ON YOUR TEAM, HELP SUPERVISE, ETC. ANY TEACHER WHO HELPS OUT ON TUESDAY OR FRIDAY WILL RECEIVE A FREE BURGER!!!
